2. What we collect

What you send us

• Crew kit requests: trade, crew size, the batteries you run, a budget if you give one, your name and email, your notes, and the kit list you checked if you choose to attach it.
• Review-unit requests from brands: brand, tool, trade, the terms of the unit, your name and email, and your notes.
• Email you send to hello@juans.tools.

The kit checklist runs in your browser. What you check isn't sent to us unless you attach it to a request, and the copied list, the .csv file and the printout are made on your own device.

Technical and log information

We run no analytics on this site. Google, which hosts it, may keep standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps.

3. Cookies and links

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and keeps no copy of your form entries in your browser. It removes one storage key an older version of the site left behind. Product names are plain text, and links to other sites carry no affiliate tag. A site you follow a link to sets its own cookies under its own policy.

4. Endorsements and review units

Juan's Tools follows the FTC's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255):

• Review units: any tool we receive free, on loan or at a discount says so at the top of its write-up.
• Affiliate links: the site carries none today. If that changes, a disclosure will sit next to the first paid link on the page, and this policy will name the programs.

5. How we use information

We use what you send to read and answer your request, and hosting logs to keep the site working and secure. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to data brokers, lead buyers, dealers or brands.

6. Who handles it for us

• Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore host the site and store form submissions. The database is one Our Landmen LLC also uses for its other websites, and a request may be copied into our own contact records.
• Fonts are served from juans.tools itself, so your browser makes no font request to another company.
• Email forwarding delivers mail sent to hello@juans.tools to our inbox.

7. Seeing or deleting what you sent

Email hello@juans.tools to ask what you sent us or to ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you further rights, and the same address is the place to raise them.
